Taking Steps Against MS

Taking Steps Against MS, a fundraising initiative of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation in partnership with Synergy Workplaces, will take place on Wednesday, March 19, 2009 at 27 Synergy locations across America.

Synergy Workplaces, a leading national business center provider, will encourage employees and tenants in its business centers to commit to using the stairs instead of the elevator to honor individuals with multiple sclerosis who may lack the ability to do so.  Event participants will secure pledges from friends and colleagues, and 100% of the money raised will be directly allocated to programs and services provided by the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.  At the end of the day, participants will gather for a cocktail reception at the Synergy Workplaces in their area.

Companies and individuals may sign-up to participate in Taking Steps Against MS by going to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation's website, http://www.msfocus.org/ and Synergy Workplaces’ website, http://synergyworkplaces.com/. 

Once enrolled, participants will receive an event packet with pledge forms, posters and other information to assist them in their fundraising efforts. Participating companies will also be included in all pre- and post-event materials as print/submission timelines allow.

In addition, enrolled companies/individuals will be contacted by a MSF staff member who will serve as their liaison for the initiative. This person will act as a key contact for participant questions, provide guidance and ensure that participants have the tools necessary to succeed.  

Registration is easy! It takes no more than ten minutes. All you need to do to register for Taking Steps Against MS is to complete the form below. Please note the areas with an “*” as they are mandatory fields. There is a $20 registration donation for participating in the event. 

If you are making a pledge in honor of a registered participant, please be sure to check the “Taking Steps Against MS” donation box and include the participant’s name in “Name of Participant” box.
